Calling all Chicago Animal Care and Control (CACC) and Safe Humane volunteers and CACC transfer partner representatives! Please join us and bring your family or friends on Tuesday afternoon, December 24th, to give some holiday love to the CACC animals. We will distribute clean blankets and towels, provide in-kennel enrichment (IKE) while giving treats to the dogs and cats, hand out Busy Bones to the dogs, cat toys to the cats, and various other TLC maintenance. We may even sing! We hope to see you at the shelter on Christmas Eve day, but even if you can’t make it, we encourage you to donate treats and sturdy toys for the dogs, cat toys, and supplies such as bath towels. You can donate your used bath towels, too (please no hand towels or washcloths).
