Fancy learning a new skill while creating a unique Christmas tree decoration? Then come along to this great workshop learning the traditional art of metal embossing.Carrie will take you through the method of transferring your design to metal, learning some simple metal embossing techniques and how to add a finish to make it look aged. Your decoration can also be finished with a splash of colour if you wish – as it is Christmas after all!
You will leave the workshop with a beautifully crafted double-sided Christmas tree ornament ready to hang. Designs will be supplied or you can bring along your own. The finished bauble size is approximately 11cm at its longest point and 8.5cm at its widest point.
The Christmas ornament would make a wonderful hand-made gift, especially if personalised for a loved one, or just keep it all to yourself!
No experience of metal embossing is necessary, as you will be taken through all the methods to make your Christmas tree ornament.
