Celebrate in Melbourne’s CBD
Celebrate Christmas Day in the majestic Main Hall of Melbourne Town Hall, one of the city’s most iconic and historic event spaces. With its 70-foot ceilings, ornate chandeliers, and sweeping marble foyer, the hall has long been Melbourne’s stage for grand celebrations - from Dame Nellie Melba’s debut to world-famous concerts.
Your experience begins with a glass of Penfolds champagne (or juice/soft drink for children), before indulging in a two hour buffet feast. From freshly shucked oysters and artisan cheeses to traditional roasts and festive desserts, every detail has been designed to make your Christmas lunch exceptional.
Adding to the grandeur, the Main Hall will be filled with live festive music performed on the Melbourne Town Hall Grand Organ, the largest instrument of its kind in the Southern Hemisphere, alongside a four-string quartet. Together, they will create an unforgettable Christmas atmosphere unlike anywhere else in the city.
