Join us for a congenial Christmas canter in the captivating Seymour trails followed by consumption of copious cookies! We’ll start at a local park and finish at my house for homemade Christmas cookies (baked by my amazing husband), maybe some healthier snacks, and hot drinks. Two mapped routes are provided (12k and 22k) and I’ll introduce you to some of my favourite trails in the area. For 2024 we'll return to the 2021 & 2023 routes. We’ll have a group start and I’ll lead a group of anyone that wants to go at an easy conversational pace on the shorter route (injuries permitting!). But feel free to go at your own pace as well (or form alternate groups) and just meet us afterwards.

Distances: 12km, 22km, or roll-your-own any distance is fine

Location: Myrtle Park, Deep Cove (by the gravel ball diamond close to the washrooms and playground - in the dugout (under shelter) if it's raining).
Garmin routes (you can download GPX from here): Note, for 2023, Fisherman's trail is closed, so a re-route makes the 22k slightly longer at 23 k. (Will check route for 2024). 2023 routes here and in the google drive.

My place is ~1k from the start/finish. You can either stop off on the way back (the routes go right by it) or finish at the park to get your car. There are washrooms at the park and at my place. Address to be provided at the start or DM me if you are starting separately.
