DESCRIPTION:
It’s the start of the 𝒇𝒆𝒔𝒕𝒊𝒗𝒆 𝒔𝒆𝒂𝒔𝒐𝒏. Celebrate summer & the holiday vibes with us. 𝐁𝐫𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐲𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐟𝐚𝐦𝐢𝐥𝐲 & 𝐟𝐫𝐢𝐞𝐧𝐝𝐬 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐣𝐨𝐢𝐧 𝐮𝐬 for an evening of 𝑪𝒉𝒓𝒊𝒔𝒕𝒎𝒂𝒔 𝑪𝒂𝒓𝒐𝒍𝒔 with the much loved 𝐀𝐟𝐫𝐨𝐪𝐮𝐚𝐫𝐭𝐞𝐳 𝐐𝐮𝐚𝐫𝐭𝐞𝐭. Relax on the grass under the trees, enjoy a leisurely dinner in our restaurant, or order family style snack boards, or cheese platters. Be part of all the Christmas traditions - letter to Father Christmas, photo with Father Christmas, family photo corner, and end the evening off with Silent Night and switching on the Christmas lights on one of our indigenous yellow wood trees. Dress yourself up with a Christmas item to add to the cheer!
PLEASE NOTE:
• 𝐎𝐧𝐥𝐲 𝐭𝐢𝐜𝐤𝐞𝐭 𝐡𝐨𝐥𝐝𝐞𝐫𝐬 who have “bought” a ticket, will be allowed entry on the evening. The event will work on a first-come, first-serve basis on the day. No reserved seating, except for disabled guests.
• 𝐍𝐨 𝐟𝐨𝐨𝐝 𝐨𝐫 𝐝𝐫𝐢𝐧𝐤 𝐭𝐨 𝐛𝐞 𝐛𝐫𝐨𝐮𝐠𝐡𝐭 𝐨𝐧 𝐭𝐨 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐩𝐫𝐞𝐦𝐢𝐬𝐞𝐬. Our regular 𝐉𝐮𝐚𝐧𝐌𝐢𝐜𝐡𝐞𝐥𝐥𝐞’𝐬@𝐁𝐥𝐚𝐜𝐤𝐰𝐚𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐬 𝐚 𝐥𝐚 𝐜𝐚𝐫𝐭𝐞 𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐮 will be available as well as some special “blackboard” offerings for families.

Adults - R50 per person
Kids - u/12 free
The 𝒕𝒊𝒄𝒌𝒆𝒕 𝒑𝒓𝒐𝒄𝒆𝒆𝒅𝒔 𝒘𝒊𝒍𝒍 𝒈𝒐 𝒕𝒐𝒘𝒂𝒓𝒅𝒔 𝒐𝒖𝒓 𝑷𝒆𝒂𝒌 𝑭𝒐𝒖𝒏𝒅𝒂𝒕𝒊𝒐𝒏 𝑺𝒌𝒊𝒍𝒍𝒔 𝑪𝒆𝒏𝒕𝒓𝒆 to “sponsor” 2 community girls for an accredited wellness course & will provide a full time work opportunity for them at Blackwaters River Lodge in 2026.

21:00 - Switching on the Christmas tree lights
