Christmas Card Art Workshop (With Cats! ) - 19th December, 6-8PM

In this joyful, hands-on workshop, you’ll create your own cat-themed Christmas cards inspired by the café’s adorable resident cats and their unique personalities.
Rita will guide you step by step through using gouache, collage, and coloured pencils to capture expressive feline faces, cosy textures, and seasonal details. Whether you’re new to art or already enjoy painting and drawing, you’ll leave with a beautiful set of handmade cards to gift or keep.

About the Tutor
Rita Piglionica is an artist and educator who studied Fine Arts and Art Education in Italy, completing a Bachelor’s degree in Painting with a specialisation in oil painting and a Master’s degree in Art Education.
Over the past six years, she has designed and delivered a wide range of art workshops, wellbeing sessions, and heritage-related projects, with a particular focus on using creativity as a tool for connection and self-expression.
In her teaching, Rita combines professional expertise with a gentle and inclusive approach, encouraging participants to progress at their own pace.
She strongly believes in the transformative power of art and heritage to enhance wellbeing and deeply emphasises the joy of experimentation and discovery, rather than producing perfect results.
