Learn how to prepare your nib, hold your pen, make the basic strokes and shapes of modern calligraphy, and to join them up into letter forms. Once you get to grips with the basics, your tutor Jane Killips will move you on to lettering names, festive quotes and phrases and to experiment with different coloured papers, greetings cards and kraft tags. And that’s not all, you will also have a chance to try out the coloured inks at the end of the workshop and add a bit of magic to your letters.
A fun afternoon of learning this beautiful art. All materials supplied, and you will take away your finished pieces, your pen, nib and extra practice sheets at the end of the session.
