Help participate in the longest-running community science bird project - the Christmas Bird Count! We'll practice observing and identifying birds at the nature center feeders, and then head outside for a short hike in search of more species. The data collected will be submitted to the Audubon Society, and contribute to over a century of observations. Bring a pair of binoculars if you have one, some will be available to borrow. Hike will be ~1 mile on crushed limestone and dirt trails. All ages. Meet at Highbanks nature center.
