Hello members! Please mark your calendar for 2024.Our Christmas Bazar and Fall Sale for the Orangeville and District Senior Centre your/our centre! is on Saturday, November 16th.
This Free event is open to the whole community!
We need your donations of clean garage sale items that are good quality (please no clothing or furniture, no electronics please! )
Please deliver items to the Centre
The week of November 11th through 15th.
Please note! The downstairs of the senior centre will be closed the week leading up to November. 16th.
This will allow us (with your help) as volunteers to set up these donated garage sale items!
We also need items for
our “Silent Auction” upstairs that are of a higher end and attractive enough to our shoppers to place a bid!
This is a major fundraiser to help cover operational expenses.
Upstairs we plan a Christmas sale, bake sale, a craft sale and a Silent auction, also food will be available from our kitchen in the form of a pea meal on a bun or muffins or cookies plus tea or coffee, later in the day, soup!
Downstairs we will hold our garage sale our book sale plus our jewellery sale.
We will need lots of volunteers for the week leading up to the garage sale. In addition, we would need lots of volunteers to manage the different areas during the day! Plus very important that we have lots of volunteers to turn up later in the day to help bring all garage sale items upstairs and to help with packing down all the tables and chairs, removing all the items from upstairs, and in particular cleaning the kitchen, ready for a rental the same evening !
