Richmond artist Christina Louise returns to the stage to celebrate the release of her new single, “Half-Smoked Cigarettes.” Known for her blend of dark Americana, jazz, and blues-rock influences, Christina brings a warm, moody sound shaped by candid storytelling and soulful vocals.Inspired by the image of an ashtray full of half-smoked cigarettes, the single explores feelings of being discarded and undervalued, carried by instrumentation that moves between resentment, sadness, and bittersweet reflection. Following the release of her debut single “Crash,” this new track marks a confident evolution in Christina’s artistry and a deeper expression of her voice.
Joined by her band of renowned Richmond talents — Chip Hale, Justin Paciocco, Rich Stine, & Will Hicks — the night will feature a full set of atmospheric originals along with a selection of well-loved covers that highlight the depth of her influences. The evening opens with a performance from Richmond singer-songwriter Caroline Vain, who shared her first EP under her own name in February 2025—"four songs filled with great poise and detail, precisely in keeping with her performance style.” (Davy Jones)
