Charlotte Glennie in conversation with Jendy HarperFriday 13 March, 6pm
Free event, RSVP essential.
Every Second Counts is the fascinating, fast-paced memoir by award-winning NZ journalist Charlotte Glennie, who survived life-changing injuries after a near-fatal accident and went on to break new ground reporting across Asia during major world events.
From being the first New Zealand correspondent to film in North Korea, telling stories from far-flung places in China, Mongolia and Russia, reporting live in the aftermath of the Indian Ocean tsunami which killed over 230,000 people, to battling monsoon rains in the world's largest refugee camp in southern Bangladesh, Charlotte writes about people living in extreme circumstances, and what it is like to be there alongside them.
She joins Seven Sharp’s Jendy Harper to discuss her extraordinary story.
