How the hell do some Christians criticise Christmas celebrations?I may not be the very Holy Bible scholar, but I've got some small biblical knowledge, so let me share.
Christmas signifies the celebration of the birth of Christ, the symbol and hope of all Christians. Christ was born right? If yes then who cares about the date, when the bible clearly says in
Matthew 18:19 "Again I say unto you, That if two of you shall agree on earth as touching any thing that they shall ask, it shall be done for them of my Father which is in heaven."
"Matthew 18:18 Verily I say unto you, Whatsoever ye shall bind on earth shall be bound in heaven: and whatsoever ye shall loose on earth shall be loosed in heaven."
Now, I unapologetically say this, it is not when U celebrate Christmas that matters, but how U celebrate it. If U like, dig up Joseph's grave and ask him when he lost his Son. His answer will make no difference. Celebrating the birth of Christ in love, happiness, holiness and Thanksgiving is what matters and not some God forsaken date.
If you are not comfortable with celebrating it, it's fine. But pls do not talk down on those who chose to celebrate it. Ur opinion can be kept within Ur circle. Thank you.
