The 'Cellar is VERY PLEASED to announce CKB's return show at the Woodcellar! These guys get DOWN, have a lot of FUN, and will have y'all up outta your seats, stompin' your boots for most of the night!
BIO:
"The Chris King Band has been playing in Denver and throughout the state of Colorado since 2010. They’re a very entertaining 5-piece country band, performing new and popular country standards, along with a few jamming classic rock tunes, and are great at keeping everybody dancing and singing. You get great harmonies and a high energy band that’s worth bringing back time and time again. In 2015 and 2018 the band was one of five finalists nominated for Best Colorado Country Band of the Year by the Colorado Country Music Hall of Fame, and Chris won the award for Colorado Country Entertainer of the Year in 2015 and 2017!
BAND:
Chris King has been the lead singer since the inception of the band. He has won several awards as Colorado country entertainer of the year with the Colorado Country Music Hall of fame, and always has an excellent group of musicians by his side.
Jeff Lawrence has been with the band off and on for the most part of the last 10 years. He is an excellent musician specializing in keyboards, bass, and vocals. He’s always the guy on stage who keeps everyone laughing and really is an irreplaceable part of the CKB band.
Charlie Provenza plays lead guitar and has been with the band for over a year. An exceptional musician, he also plays an excellent mandolin, and performs with several other popular bands, as he is always in demand.
Tony Gilley is the band’s drummer and newest member, and thanks to his incredible drumming skills and musicianship, everyone in the audience can be seen tapping their feet to the beat of their favorite songs.
Dan Lichtenwalter is their bass player and really can make you feel that country beat. With lightning-fast fingers, he really keeps the groove in the band fun and booming."
