Part of our season of Coffee and Crime events which have included top crime writers Elly Griffiths and MW Craven, we are thrilled to welcome Chris Brookmyre to Ripon. Chris is a bestselling author with his Jack Parlabane series and he is also one half of historical crime due Ambrose Parry. His writing is punch, irreverant, hilarious and deviously plotted and we are big fans. So come along to Valentino's Restauirant in Ripon (tickets only) and enjoy a cup of excellent coffee and a sicilian pastry and listen to Chris talk about his writing and his new novel Quite Ugly One Evening a welcome return to Jack Parlabane and a seabourne locked room mystery.
