Chrimbo Limbo, Twixtmas or Feral Week, call it what you will, that holiday hiatus between Christmas and New Year usually finds us snuggled on the sofa or striding purposefully along the promenade or yomping through the countryside, on a long, cobweb-blowing walk, while the kids ride their new bikes, scooters, skateboards or roller skates.
