Chosen Family Frame Workshop
Join us for an in-person creative workshop supporting All Out Collective and their True Colours Club!
This QT Crafternoon is open to all 16+ 2SLGBTQIA+ individuals and their allies. This program is tun through a Social Work and Recreation Therapy lense with the intention of bringing the community and their allies together for an afternoon of fun, healing and intentional community.
Accessibility:
This is key for us! The venue is accessible by wheelchair. There are accessible bathrooms on the main floor and the venue is accessible by a ramp. The event is run on the 2nd floor but is accessible by elevator. The event is entirely dry (no substances) and snacks will be provided. We also offer (7) subsidized spots for those who cannot afford a fully paid spot. Everyone will receive the same experience. This venue also has free parking.

The True Colours Club is a ten week, arts based and social work supported program for Trans, Non-Binary and gender diverse children. The Club is offered in three age groups; 5-7 years old, 8-11 years old and our 12+ teen group. True Colours runs twice a year, in March and September with monthly events happening throughout the year to keep our kids and families connected and supported. The program focuses on creativity and imagination, identity celebration and affirmation, increasing self esteem and self-worth and community and friendship building.
The goals of the True Colours Club are to provide a safer space and place for gender diverse children to be feel comfortable to be authentically themselves to be exposed to diverse forms of crafts, art and expression to be supported by affirming 2SLGBTQIA+ facilitators to build self confidence through creativity and expression, and to make friendships and form community.
