Evensong, one of the crown jewels of our tradition, is an evening service filled with sung prayer, candles, chant, and timeless music. Each service is preceded by a half-hour organ recital beginning at 4:30 p.m., with the service beginning at 5 p.m. All events are free, open to the public, and will be followed by a reception. The offering of these services goes toward the Choirs' Worcester Residency.
St. James presents Choral Evensong in observance of Martin Luther, with a pre-service organ recital performed by Associate Organist Austin Clark, on February 23.
