It's a Chopped Latke Edition Pre Chanukah Woman's Club event and we hope you can join us! Come as a competitor or a spectator and you will be sure to have fun!What is a Chopped Competition?
A Chopped competition is a cooking challenge inspired by the popular show, where chefs are given a mystery basket of ingredients and tasked with creating a dish within a limited time frame. Our competition will feature one round with three key components being judged:
The Mystery Basket: Each team will receive a basket containing unique and unusual ingredients. They must incorporate all of these ingredients into their latke dish, using additional pantry items, spices, and staples available in the mock kitchen.
The Time Limit: Teams will have a set amount of time to prepare, cook, and plate their latke dish.
The Judging: A panel of judges will taste the dishes and evaluate them based on flavor, creativity, presentation, and the use of the mystery ingredients. Each dish will be critiqued and scored, and the winning team will receive a prize.
WC Members: Free
Non Members $45 per person if registered by Nov 14th. After Nov 14th Price increase $55 per person.
