The Cambridge Camerata Academy is delighted to present a special concert bringing together the Stradivari Players string ensemble from Vancouver, Canada, with celebrated pianist Vitaly Pisarenko. Together they will present a delightful programme of beloved works by Mendelssohn, Tchaikovsky, Elgar, Grieg and Chopin.

Stradivari Players
Drawn from the very best string players of the Vancouver Academy of Muisc, the Stradivari Players are a chamber string orchestra that rehearses and performs without a conductor. In this performance, Camerata violinists Freya Goldmark and Emma Purslolw, violist Sarah-Jane Bradley and cellist Toby White will join them as principals, as well as in the solo quartet in the Elgar. Julliard graduate and CEO of the Vancouver Academy of Music, Joseph Elworthy, will play solo cello in the Tchaikovsky.
Vitaly Pisarenko
After winning some of the most important international awards including the First Prize at the 8th International Franz Liszt Piano Competition in Utrecht and the Third Prize at the Leeds International Piano Competition (2015), London-based Ukrainian-Russian pianist Vitaly Pisarenko has been steadily gaining worldwide recognition.
Critically acclaimed as a pianist of unusually soft touch, prodigious technique and captivating expressiveness, Vitaly has performed in both solo recitals and with orchestras in over 30 countries in such prestigious venues as Wigmore Hall, Musikverein, Moscow Philharmonic Recital Hall, National Center for Performing Arts in Beijing, Shanghai Concert Hall, Mozarteum in Salzburg, Salle Cortot in Paris and Palace of Arts in Budapest, Concertgebouw Amsterdam, Queen Elizabeth Hall and Cadogan Hall, Big Hall of the Moscow Conservatoire,Tokyo Opera City, Seoul Arts Center, Teatro Colon and Sala San Paulo.
