On Friday April 26th, Chocolate Groove welcomes our first international artist of 2024, Scott Nice from Nevada City, live in Toronto with an opening set by Cacaoboy! Prepare for an incredible night of community connection, Cacao, Ecstatic Dance, live art, projection mapping, Live painting, Vendors, Elixirs and a deep closing sound healing experience to close out the night.

❃ About Scott Nice:
World sounds soar over lush beats as Scott merges electronic with accoustic dipping into Afro-Latin, tropical and middle eastern sounds in the process.
Scott’s roots in Turntablism and Hip-Hop shine with his remix/mash-ups of classic tunes accompanied by live scratching to create a one-of-a-kind sonic journey. This cross-pollination of sounds keeps dancers and music fans excited to hear where the journey goes next.
Since 2016 Scott has released 6 full length albums working with many amazing collaborators such as The Polish Ambassador, Liquid Bloom, Poranguí, Alex Serra, El Buho, Mose, Ayla Nereo, and many more. Scott’s live sets have included appearances at Lightning in a Bottle, Re:Imagine LA, Envision Festival (Costa Rica), Lucidity Festival (CA), Imagine Festival (WA), and Embodiment (Guatemala).

With a yogi's spirit and a DJ's soul, Jesse Buck, also known as Cacoaboy, transcends boundaries as a Community Visionary, Event Producer, Coach, Teacher, and Sound Healer. With deep love and reverence for cacao, he guides others on transformative journeys, while igniting the collective spirit and nurturing expressions of unity with a global community.
Currently based in Toronto, Jesse's reach extends globally, as he curates retreats, community events, cacao ceremonies, ecstatic dances, and soul-stirring sound journeys.
His visionary creation, "Chocolate Groove," has become a beacon of Cacao Ecstatic Dance Gatherings in Toronto, Hamilton, Costa Rica, and most recently, Tulum!
Jesse is also co-founder of Sonic Springs Festival which is heading into 3rd year of production. This offering is bringing together the best in Music, Art & Wellness to create a well rounded and intentional festival experieince
As a DJ, Jesse artfully crafts soundscapes tailored to the occasion, infusing his sets with intention and purpose. Seamlessly traversing the realm of Global Grooves, he transports listeners to diverse states of ecstasy and bliss. During his transformative Sound Ceremonies, Jesse utilizes an array of sacred instruments, with a particular focus on crystal singing bowls meticulously tuned to the harmonious frequency of 432Hz. This harmonious resonance facilitates deep relaxation and profound healing experiences, heightened by guided meditations that guide participants into transcendent states.

What is the Chocolate Groove?
Chocolate Groove has been offering alcohol-free community gatherings since the summer of 2018. What started out as a Community Cacao Ecstatic Dance Social has evolved into a much bigger production over the last 4 years. We have been hosting many different types of community gatherings over the years, but most known for our Cacao Ecstatic Dance Party’s where we merge the freedom of Ecstatic Dance & with a social / networking experience. At the root of all our events, we are an intentional community that creates an all-inclusive safe space for everyone to come together, feel free, celebrate, connect authentically & DANCE!
