Join us at the Alliance for a screening of a 2000 romance film, based on the 1999 novel Chocolat by the English author Joanne Harris, directed by Lasse Hallström.
This event is part of the EUNIC project "Music and Chocolate: Tastes & Sounds of Europe."
Synopsis
Vianne Rocher, played by Juliette Binoche, and her six-year-old daughter, Anouk, open a chocolate shop in a conservative village in France, much to the villagers' disapproval. Over time, they win the people's hearts and also help them with their troubles.
