We are delighted to extend a warm invitation to you and your family to attend our upcoming School Art Show, where we will be showcasing the remarkable artwork created by our students.Date: Thursday, May 2
Time: 2-3 PM
Location: CHM Primary Campus - 4021 Range Rd. Rapid City
The Art Show will feature works by the Primary and the Lower Elementary students created over the school year under the guidance of Ms. Jenny Kilcoin. We will also have on display a collaborative piece done by the Upper Elementary students using linoleum cuts. They were guided in their project by Michael Two Bulls. The UE students will also be selling canvas tote bags with their prints as a fundraiser for their classroom library.
In addition to viewing the artwork, there will be refreshments provided including chocolate-covered strawberries, fresh fruit, bread and punch. We encourage you to mingle with fellow parents, teachers, and students as we celebrate art at our school. After you have viewed the art and enjoyed the treats, you are welcome to leave at any time with your child. We also ask that as you leave you take your child's individual art work home.
Primary (Morning-Only Students) Dismissal
Parents will pick up as normal and return to school for this event. Your child will remain in your care during this time.
Primary (Full Day Students) Dismissal
For Primary students not attending after care, they will dismiss to their parents after the musical performance. If you are not able to attend the event, your child will remain in our care until you pick up at your normal time. After Care will take place as usual from 3 to 6 pm. If you are attending the event, but your child will be staying for After Care, please sign your child into the After Care Binder and let a staff person know before you depart.
Elementary Dismissal
Elementary will dismiss at 1:45 pm on this day and parents will bring their child to the Primary Campus to attend this event together. The students will remain in their parents care during the event. Please remember to take your child's individual artwork home when you leave.
After Care will still be available on this day and children can attend it from 3 to 6 pm as needed. If you plan to have your child stay for After Care, you will sign your child into the After School Care binder and let a staff member know before you depart.
For elementary families not able to pick up at 1:45 pm on this day, please respond to this email to let us know. We will transport your child to the event. If you are not able to attend the event, your child will remain in our care until you pick up at your normal time, but please note pick up will occur at the Primary Campus.
