Chirk Castle Dark Run 2024
It’s time to glow crazy for Hope House Children’s Hospices and take in the stunning grounds of Chirk Castle – in the dark! Run, jog or walk, join with friends, take your family or do it solo the choice is yours!
We can’t wait to light up the castle again and see everyone waving their glow sticks in aid of local families.
Susie from Clubbercise will get you all warmed up at 6.10pm and at 6.30pm sharp, we will sound the starter hooter!
Complete two laps (4k) amidst music, cheering spectators and finish your Dark Run in our Medal Arena where you will also pick up your extra special goody bag.
Little/tired legs are more than welcome to complete one lap and enjoy their medal just the same.
There is no dress code but if you fancy going all neon or Halloween we always love the colourful scenes our Dark Run crowds create.
Sign up today and you will ensure that we can continue to be there for every family who needs us.
What you need to know:
• Registration is £10 per adult and £5 per child* (under 16 years).
• You must be within the castle grounds by 6pm latest as the gates will close and there is no access until the event finishes (both entrances)
Every child entrant must be accompanied by a participating, paying adult. Up to 3 accompanying children per adult entry.
• Everyone must bring a head torch
• No dogs allowed on the castle grounds during the Dark Run
• We ask every Dark Runner to raise as much as they can to help us to provide expert care for local children with life threatening conditions.

By registering for this event you are agreeing to the following statement: I am taking part in this event at my own risk and the promoters, or any person involved in the organisation of the event, will not be responsible for any illness or injury caused by my participation. I will only participate on the day if I am fit enough to complete the course. I grant Hope House the right to use photographs/videos taken of me during the event, i.e. on the Hope House website/Facebook page.
