This presentation challenges common misconceptions and explores how learning theory intersects with real-world training practices. Attendees will gain a deeper understanding of how to apply these foundational concepts to better shape behaviour, improve outcomes, and avoid pitfalls in their training journey.
RETHINKING COMMON SENSE DOG TRAINING: CHALLENGING COMMON WISDOMS IN THE FIELD
In Rethinking Common Sense Dog Training, Chirag Patel invites dog trainers and behaviour consultants to critically examine common practices and beliefs in the field. This session will challenge widely accepted ‘truths’ in dog training and behaviour, encouraging participants to think critically and question the status quo.
By analysing popular training methods and coaching strategies, Chirag will highlight the importance of evidence-based practices and encourage a culture of continuous learning and critical thinking.
