We are so excited for our grand Amrit Mahotsav this summer celebrating 75 years of Chinmaya Mission and 50 years of Bala Vihar in the West with the theme of peace and unity!! Please join us on Sunday, July 19th at EMU’s George Gervin GameAbove Center as we celebrate with 5000 guests from our Southeast Michigan community and around the world! The event will be presided over by Pujya Swami Swaroopanandaji, the Global Head of Chinmaya Mission, and we will have Special Guest Grammy Award winner Chandrika Tandon present. We are thrilled to welcome and honor all local temples, organizations, dance and music teachers, and all those who have been upholding and supporting our culture in this community for so many years. We will have a special felicitation of Bala Vihar sevaks, alumni families, and exciting events for current families. The program will include a parade, a Bhagavad Gita Festival, and powerful Hanuman Chalisa chanting, invoking peace on Earth. We are looking forward to this spectacular program with everyone!
