Lincoln Memorial Park & Funeral is honored to host this inaugural event.
Starting at 11 am, join us for blessings provided by the Huilin Temple and a lion dancer peformance by the White Lotus dance team.
Festivities will take place near gates 7 & 8 in the cemetery.
Ching Ming (Qingming), or Pure Brightness Festival, is a traditional Chinese festival to honor ancestors through grave-sweeping, cleaning, and offering food and joss paper, symbolizing filial piety and the start of spring renewal. Literally meaning "clear and bright," it combines remembrance with outdoor activities.
Ching Ming is a public holiday in Hong Kong and mainland China, often referred to as Chinese Memorial Day.
