Chinese Tea Ceremony

Tea has its roots in China, where it has been consumed for over 2,000 years. In China, tea is more than just a beverage—it's a significant aspect of the culture, serving both as a spiritual experience and a form of self-cultivation.

The Chinese tea ceremony is a ritualized way to savor tea. Methods for enjoying tea in China have taken various forms in history. The contemporary practice draws its influence from the tea-drinking customs of scholars during the Ming Dynasty (1368-1644) and the Gongfu tea ceremony in the Chaoshan area since the 18th century.

Engaging in a tea ceremony is an exercise in mindfulness that deepens your appreciation of the tea. It also serves as an elegant means of sharing the beauty of tea with friends and family.
