New term of Chinese Pole classes in Bristol.Chinese pole is a circus discipline, somewhere between aerial, acrobatics and rock-climbing.
A gentle and supportive space, adapted to the level and experience of the group. We will work through foundation climbs, positions, drops and movement sequences before moving onto more advanced tricks. Focus is on strengthening and protecting the body with playful movement tasks lower on the pole once arms get tired!

Laura trained as a contemporary dancer before joining the circus and has been performing internationally for over 15 years. She has worked with companies including NoFit State, Pirates of the Carabina, Upswing and Invisible Circus. She has taught for Circomedia, NoFit State, and for youth groups, schools and festivals in Europe and the UK.
