Chinese New Year Family Banquet

This Chinese New Year, LUSH & HUSH invites you to an intimate family-style banquet hosted inside our Notting Hill townhouse — a one-night-only celebration designed to be warm, generous and unmistakably festive.
This is not a typical restaurant dinner.
It’s an evening built around sharing food, conversation and the spirit of reunion.
✨ The Experience
Guests will gather around a long table and enjoy ten auspicious Chinese New Year dishes, served family-style and designed for sharing.
The menu features premium ingredients traditionally associated with celebration and good fortune, including lobster, foie gras, wagyu beef, whole fish, poached chicken and classic festive dishes — each one carrying its own New Year symbolism.
To complete the ritual, the evening finishes with traditional dumplings and nian gao, an essential part of the Chinese New Year table.

- 10 dishes in total
(4 cold dishes, 6 hot dishes, including one vegetarian dish) - All dishes are served family-style
- One portion is shared between two guests
- Dumplings and nian gao are served as festive staples and are not counted as dishes
This format is designed to recreate the feeling of a real Chinese New Year family meal — generous, relaxed and shared.

The townhouse offers two distinct dining atmospheres:
Upstairs – Festive Family Table
A lively long-table setting with a relaxed, family-style karaoke atmosphere.
No stage, no performance — just light-hearted singing, as you would at home.
Downstairs – Quiet Dining Area
A calmer setting with soft background music, ideal for conversation and a more intimate experience.
Guests may indicate their preferred seating area when booking, subject to availability.
