Tonight, we have the remarkable privilege of transporting you to an ancient land filled with wonder and excitement – all in a single evening. Step onto foreign soil and join us for an exclusive visit to the Embassy of the People’s Republic of China!
In addition to an incredible program, you will be amazed at the incredible architecture, the wonderful artwork, and the cultural artifacts located throughout the embassy.
Featuring:
AUTHENTIC CHINESE DINNER
We are preparing a buffet dinner of exquisite Chinese delicacies. Tonight’s dishes will be prepared in a manner native to authentic Chinese menus.
DIPLOMATIC GREETING:
Meet young diplomats from the Embassy of China who will be on hand to answer questions about Chinese culture, Chinese American Relations, Visiting China, etc. A special welcome will be offered by a member of the embassy.
BIAN LIAN CHINESE FACE CHANGING PERFORMANCE
Tonight, a visiting Chinese performer will showcase the dramatic art of the Sichuan opera with brightly colored outfits and the MAGIC of face-changing masks. If you blink, you will miss the magic!
CHINESE DANCE SHOW:
Tonight’s Dancers will showcase a native performance, dedicated to the Year of the Horse!
LIVE CHINESE MUSICIANS:
Experience the music and art of native Chinese musicians with unique instruments!
CHINESE ART:
Surrounding this beautiful embassy are historic paintings, pictures, and artifacts that will be on display. Representatives from the embassy will be on hand to discuss their significance.
DUMPLINGS CLASS
The staff at the Chinese Embassy will help you learn how to make dumplings. If you wish, roll up your sleeves and participate in the class! Then, enjoy your creation!
