Chinese Knot & Keychain Workshop at LOOQAL in the ‘hood @ Alma House, New Bahru! This pop-up shines a light on Singapore-based brands that are fully founder-led, creating space for them to share their work and connect with new audiences.
Join us for a chill, hands-on session where traditional Chinese knotting meets upcycled fashion. Using rescued fabric scraps, leftover materials and traditional chinese fabrics, you’ll learn simple knot techniques and turn them into a cute, meaningful keychain you can actually use.
Chinese knots are a traditional decorative handicraft that involves intricate weaving of a single cord into various symmetrical patterns. These knots are more than just a decoration, they also carry deep cultural and symbolic significance within Chinese heritage.This workshop is a blend of culture, sustainability, and self-expression.
No experience needed. Come hang out with the Fashion Parade community, meet new people, and leave with something handmade that reflects your style, values, and story. Sustainable, sentimental, and seriously fun!
