San Francisco’s Chinatown book comes alive over the next three months as the authors, photographer Dick Evans, and journalist Kathy Chin Leong, deliver slideshow presentations at three branch libraries. In one hour, audiences will learn about the history of Chinatown, Chinese traditions, and the future of Chinatown while hearing behind-the-scenes tales of what it took to make the book happen.
Come out for one or more of these free talks. Plus, if you want to purchase the book for a friend or family member Dick and Kathy will be available to sign copies afterwards.
