Practical Lessons from China’s IP Enforcement in Creative Industries
Tuesday, November 4, 2025 | 1:00 PM
We are delighted to welcome Dongyan (Dawn) Yu of Jiaquan IP Law for a special session on intellectual property enforcement in China. This class will explore how China’s evolving IP system protects animation, culture, design, and other creative products through trademark, copyright, and related laws. Drawing on recent case studies—from counterfeiting of viral toys to AI-generated infringement—Dawn will highlight practical strategies for safeguarding creative works in China, including the importance of first-to-file trademark registration, customs enforcement, and copyright protections. Participants will gain actionable insights into how artists, designers, and creative businesses can navigate China’s complex IP landscape and strengthen their international rights.
