The sun is coming! And that means Spring is around the corner :) We've prepared a perfect Spring day out - 18th April 2026 - a guided nature walk with a bird and wildlife expert, along with a visit to a local small holding where we'll speak all things sheep, with the potential to see a lamb being born...The day begins with a 45 min guided nature walk, followed by a visit to a farm to see lambing in progress. This is followed by lunch and then onto another artisan; with a tour guide and transport included.
It is an all-inclusive full day of activities, curated for anyone that would like to explore the Chilterns' best sights and tastes in a different way.
🌳🐦🌻🌼 After being picked up from nearby to Amersham Railway Station, the first stop is a guided nature walk with the Jon Mason - @theearlybirder. Jon will be sharing his knowledge about the seasonal fauna and flora on this gentle 40 minute stroll where we will be looking out for Birds, Bluebells and other wildflowers.
🐑 🗣💬Stop 2 will be a timely and seasonal visit to @churchfarmbucks to experience a 'Lambing Live' session. There will be an opportunity to meet the ewes, pet a lamb and hear about how the farm cares for the sheep at this important time of year. Fortunate timing may even see a lamb being born!
🍲🫒🛖Stop 3 will be a delicious 2 course lunch with a glass of wine at @oxmoorfarm. They produce stunning seasonal plates and are on a mission to make the planet a better place through food by shining a light on the way it is produced, supplied and consumed.
🧀🍷Stop 4 will be a wine and cheese pairing at @no2poundst and @therealcheeseproject A specially curated pairing of 4 English cheeses with wines from boutique vineyards. This is your quintessentially British-focused cheesemonger and wine shop concerned with small, niche producers. A true local Chiltern artisan.
