About this Event
As we move steadily from Spring towards Summer and the ice cream vans start to return from hibernation with all their glistening chimes and jingles, what better indication could you want that it's time to pull out the picnic blanket and get down to the park?
The thought of a crisp white Furmint with a falafel or lightly chilled Beaujolais next to some truffled brie and rye crackers can only mean that British summertime is here.
More than just hazy picnics in the park at dusk, we will deep dive into wines that no fridge door should be without for the Summer. A crowdpleasing Sauvignon for the ad hoc al fresco lunch, a natty orange number for those strolls along the river with friends or just irresistible bottles to enjoy under the parasol in the garden. Enjoy, relax, chill!
Our shop tastings start at 7.30pm and run for approximately one-and-a-half to two hours. We will taste 6-8 wines on a theme, and bread, cheese and charcuterie is provided to match with the wines. Due to the communal nature of the tasting, we are unable to cater for dietary requirements.
