This is a walk of 11 miles, that starts from the historic village of Chilham, but please note this is a much different walk, to that which Kevin is leading a few weeks earlier on 16th November. Leaving the village, we cross the railway to pass beside the mill to make our way towards Thruxted & Garlinge Green. There is a stretch of woodland, named on the OS map as Capel Wood, followed by Eggringe Wood, which we pass through to make progress to Stump Shave.
Our circuit crosses the railway at East Stour Farm, quickly followed by the group crossing the busy Ashford Road (A28). We eventually join the North Downs Way at Chilham, which we reach at Mountain Street to head back to our start point.
Don't forget to pack your picnic for the usual short lunch stop, whilst the Woolpack or White Horse awaits those that wish to socialise post walk.
Dogs welcome, but on a short lead when required
