Join us for storytime with author Julie Koon! Julie will be sharing her two newest books, “Breathe a Rainbow” and “City Farm”.
Breathe a Rainbow is a breathe along, interactive board book. Breathe in . . . and breathe out . . . with this unique interactive book that offers mindful breathing exercises and calming textures for children to trace with their fingers as they inhale and exhale.
City Farm brings to light the concept of urban sprawl through the story of a young lady’s experiences on a farm. Willadeene’s story, starting with the quiet farm life to being surrounded by noise and tall buildings, shows young readers the effects of what rapid development can do to places all over the world. The story teaches lessons about urban sprawl, community, and resilience.
