About this Event

Children’s Sound Journey – A Magical Sound Adventure

Enter a peaceful, enchanting space where sound becomes something you can feel, imagine, and explore…

This Children’s Sound Journey invites your child to lie down comfortably, settle into stillness, and be gently carried away by the beautiful tones of singing bowls, gongs, chimes, and drum. As the sounds flow and shimmer through the room, children are encouraged to notice how the vibrations feel—perhaps like soft waves, gentle tingles, or even bursts of imagination.

Let your child journey through a world of soothing sounds, where every note feels like a story and every vibration brings a sense of wonder…

🌿 How the journey unfolds:
We begin by gently inviting children to notice how their body and mind feel—are they full of energy, feeling calm, or a little busy inside? This helps them become aware of their own thoughts and sensations.

Next, they will be guided through a short, child-friendly meditation, using simple imagery and calming words to help them relax, settle, and feel safe and cosy in their space.

Once they are relaxed, the sound journey begins… allowing the instruments to create a magical soundscape around them.

This experience offers children a chance to:
🌙 Feel calm and deeply relaxed
🌈 Discover how sound affects their body and emotions
✨ Let their imagination wander and creativity grow
🕊️ Enjoy a quiet moment of peace and rest

Sound journeys can be wonderfully soothing, helping to calm busy minds, release tension, and awaken creativity—a magical pause in their day.

💫 For parents and carers:
A parent or carer must attend and remain present throughout the session to supervise their child. You are welcome to lie down on a mat alongside your child and enjoy the experience too. However, it’s important that you remain awake and alert to keep an eye on your young person.

If you feel you might drift off to sleep, you’re very welcome to sit on a chair instead, while your child relaxes on their mat.

🌿 A gentle note about the session:
This may feel a little different from a typical sound bath, there may not be guarenteed silence.... it is a children's soundbath afterall. It is important to note that in order to maintain a calm, safe and mindful environment, children won’t be able to touch the instruments—but they are warmly invited to watch peacefully and listen as the instruments come to life, creating a rich and magical soundscape.

Towards the end of your journey you will be gently guided back to the present moment and then given time to reflect, maybe take note of how your body and mind now feel. You may like to write down anything of importance, draw a picture, ask questions, share any thoughts, or just sit peacefully with a drink and snack.

There are no limitations on ages permitted, all I ask is that the parents/carers are able to be on standby and attend to their young person if needed.

Please arrive between 4.45pm and 4.55pm as door will then be locked for a prompt start at 5pm to which latecomers will not be able to gain access. There is a free car park onsite for attendees. Follow the path round the back of front building and you will find us in a room on the right.

Yoga mats, eye masks and refreshments are provided, just bring along a pillow and blanket for comfort. If you wish to get extra comfy, many attendees decide to bring their duvet.... pyjamas are also welcome. (Teddy bears and safety blankies also welcome!) There is no judgement, you can arrive however you may feel most comfortable.

I will try to make the experience as relaxing as I can, however if your young person struggles with the environment or experience, don't feel pressured into feeling like you must stay for the duration. You are welcome to leave if its in their best interest, no offence will be taken. Everyone is different and will react individually to new surroundings and experiences.

TICKET PURCHASES ARE PER PERSON. FOR EXAMPLE, IF THERE IS ONE ADULT AND ONE CHILD YOU ARE REQUIRED TO BOOK TWO TICKETS.

THIS GUARENTEES YOU BOTH A SPACE.

Who may not be suitable to experience a soundbath?

If you have epilepsy or other seizures isn't advised to attend as sometimes seizures can be triggered by some of the instruments I will be using.

Ladies... If you are in the 1st trimester of pregnancy it isn't advised to attend.

If you have a pace maker or heart condition, it is advised you seek professional medical advise before booking a space. If attending you may wish to bring a chaperone. (No bowls will be placed on the body in a group session)

Anyone with a diagnosed mental health disorder may find it beneficial to be chaparoned at the event and is also important to have support at home thereafter as certain sounds/frequencies you may hear can have the potential to release emotion, those whom already struggle may need additional support to process feelings afterwards.

If you suffer with tinnitus some people find sound bath therapeutic whereas others don't. It is at your discretion whether to proceed booking a space. If you choose to attend, being further away from the crystal singing bowls may help reduce any chances of irritation.

If you wear hearing aids, turning them down may help as some intruments might be a little uncomfortable.

Anyone arriving under the influence of alcohol or drugs will not be permitted to enter.

Aftercare advice....

The effects of any sound bath may be felt for days afterwards. The least you will feel will be a sense of calmness but some people may feel flu like symptoms. This is due to the release of any toxins. It is recommended to increse the intake of water for the next 24 hours to encourage the flushing out of such toxins. Avoiding any strenuous activities immediately after is also advised as is avoidance of alcohol (adults) immediately after a soundbath.

Emotions may fluctuate as stagnant energy may have been moved and the brain has had the capability to process these releases. Maybe take this time to journal or acknowlege any feelings that arise in order to process and release further.

If you have any concerns prior to or following a sound bath it is advised to contact your medical health professional.
