We have Maisie the mobile touring potter joining us for the weekend! Bringing pottery wheels to our studio (because there has been so much interest!) We are holding our own throw down! Each session will hold six potters - so nice and attentive. Come and spend time on a wheel on this beginners guide to throwing on the wheel. This session is aimed at CHILDREN - you asked - we listened! A great idea for family fun - adults welcome to join in this session (space must be booked separately)
The balance of the session is due at booking. Due to the costs of bringing in an outside tutor this workshop unfortunately can not be refunded through no shows or late cancellations. Your pots will then travel back to dry, be fired and glazed off site. All explained at the beginning of the workshop.
Spend an hour crafting with clay. The session will include a demo and introduction to the ceramic process. You will throw two mini pots on the wheel with plenty of encouragement, guidance and support. All abilities are welcome - suitable for ages 8 years plus. After the session you will be able to choose from a selection of artisan glazes to have your pieces coated in.
Pots will be returned on The Touring Potters next visit.
