Children's Nature Nook
Get creative with nature-inspired crafts and activities. Learn about Birds, Sea Turtles, Wildlife Viewing, and more, and engage in fun activities, such as bird feeder building, build a bird, touch tables and more.
Stop-over Stations in the Vendor Market
Stop by exhibitor tables in the Vendor Market and take part in a fun scavenger hunt for kids while learning about the many organizations who provide birding and nature activities and resources.
Live Bird of Prey Show
Learn about the beautiful creatures of the sky with a fascinating Bird of Prey Show. There are even opportunities to take photos with these amazing animals.
Guided Nature Walks
Take part in off-site guided morning birding walks at the San Benito Wetlands.
Children's Art and Photography Contest
Check out the gorgeous submissions by the talented youth in the Rio Grande Valley. Winners are announced on Sunday afternoon.
The RGVBF Children's Nature Nook runs from 10 am to 4 pm on Saturday, November 9th and Sunday, November 10th. As part of the RGV Birding Festival, it will be located at the Harlingen Convention Center at 701 Harlingen Heights Dr., Harlingen TX
