This session is designed for Nurses involved in delivering Immunisations and Vaccinations and want to further their skills in Children's Immunisations & Vaccinations.

- Immunisation and how vaccines work
- National policy, the current UK childhood schedule and selected other countrys childhood schedules
- Unscheduled vaccinations
- Vaccine preventable disease
- Legal aspects of vaccination
- Administration technique - babies and children
- Communicating with parents
- Strategies for improving vaccine uptake & Vaccine Hesitency
- Current issues related to vaccination anatomy and physiology of the immune system
An outlook invite will be sent out 48hours after booking and a joining link will be sent out closer to the time of the session so make sure the email address you have provided is accessed before the session.
