About this Event
Let’s celebrate what libraries mean to us!
Our regular writing club will dedicate a whole session to writing about the joys that libraries bring. Write a poem or a short story, aided by guided prompts and exercises. Your finished piece will then be published in a collection, which we will put into library stock!
Become an author and celebrate the magic of libraries with us at writing club!
This workshop will be fun and interactive, creating a space for children to write and share with each other. Everyone can take part, whether you’re a budding writer or you’ve never written before.
All materials and guidance are provided by library staff. Attendance is free but registration is required. Suitable for age 7 to 12 years. All children aged under 9 years must be accompanied by an adult - accompanying adults do not need to book a ticket.
