About this Event
In Its 17th year of providing free Bomba dance classes to the community, classes are thaought in a family friendly environtment. Children will learn the fundamentals of bomba dance, its rhythms, songs and percussion (maraca y cua). Classes are taught by renowned Puerto Rican native Bomba dancer: Milteri Tucker Concepcion and members of the Bombazo Dance Co.
Date: 5 consecutive Saturdays starting March 15th-April 12th, 2025
New Location: Inspiration Point located at 710 Tiffany St Bronx, NY 10474
Ages: Classes are for children 5-12 years of age. Toddlers ages 1-4 are welcome to join with a parent or legal guardian present in class.
Time:10am-11am
What to wear: Lose comfortable clothing.
Bomba Skirt: available to purchase at www.bombacaribbebbeanskirts.com
Mask Policy: to parents -legal guardian discretion. We highly recommend if participant is sick with fever or other severe symptoms to seek medical attention. They can join us once they are well.
FEE: ONE TIME registration Fee of $10.00 per participant.
