Children’s Theatre Workshop- Conducted by Paridhi Bhandari
For ages 12–16
This workshop helps young participants discover storytelling as a tool for self-expression, observation, and imagination. They learn about different ways of telling stories, work with a text through their own interpretation, and express ideas freely in a group setting.
Key takeaways include confidence in speaking, stronger observation and listening skills, creative thinking, and the ability to express themselves without fear of judgment by creating a safe space for them.
ABOUT PARIDHI BHANDARI:
Paridhi is a director, producer, writer, actor, and the founder of PBTheatre. She is currently an adjunct faculty at IIT Gandhinagar and has travelled across India to perform in cities like Mumbai, Pune, Bangalore, Visakhapatnam, Ahmedabad, Chennai, Lonavala, Haryana, Chandigarh, and Jaipur. She has worked with children of all age groups at schools like Ahmedabad International School & Divine International School in Ahmedabad. Her latest productions include Dabbewaali, which was performed at Prithvi Theatre, and Matki. She is currently focused on growing PBTheatre, which is running four original productions.
ABOUT PBTHEATRE:
PBTheatre is an independent theatre production company founded by Paridhi Bhandari with a vision to create immersive theatrical experiences, where stories unfold through shared presence. Their first production, 'Hang-in-There!', has completed 20 shows across different venues and festivals like Natarani Amphitheatre, Prithvi Theatre, Kalaghoda Arts Festival, Bombay Gymkhana, Rangashankara & BIC in Bangalore and many others. They have also created performances for children like 'HoHOHold On!' performed at Bucky Art Gallery and 'Clay Play' - in collaboration with Mannmela with 50+ shows. Their latest production, 'Dabbewaali', has been performed at Prithvi Theatre and IIT Bombay.
