About this Event
Children and young people in Care have the right to the best possible health. Professionals working with them have a responsibility to promote and support this while recognising that it is the Carer who can make the biggest impact on the child’s experiences and environment. This Workshop looks at managing the healthcare needs and rights of care experienced children and young people.
Human rights are a list of things that all people – including children and young people – need to live a safe, healthy, and happy life. You have them no matter where you are from, how old you are, what you believe, or how you choose to live your life. The overall aim of this Healthcare Rights Workshop is to improve your understanding of healthcare needs and rights of children and young people in care.
