About this Event

The Human Rights Law Centre (HRLC), working in collaboration with the University of Nottingham's Institute for Policy and Engagement, Nottingham City Council, and UNICEF UK, is delighted to invite you to our upcoming workshop, Exploring Innovative Approaches for Child-Inclusive Research.

This event will take place from 11:30-13:30 UK time (GMT) in Room A21 (Council Room) of the Trent Building at the University of Nottingham, on Monday, 6th of March 2023.

UNICEF UK are supporting Nottingham in their bid to be recognised as a UNICEF Child Friendly City. Child Friendly Cities is a global UNICEF initiative that reaches and supports nearly 30 million children in 50 countries across the whole world. The goal of the Child Friendly City programme is to make cities and communities places where all the local children and young people have a positive and meaningful input, so they can benefit from the plans, decisions, spaces and services they use and that impact their lives where they grow up.

This workshop will explore the ways in which researchers at the University of Nottingham and NTU can assist in this important project. It will include presentations from UNICEF and Nottingham City Council, followed by lunch, then a workshop session.

Speakers to be added as people confirm.

This event is open to all staff and PGRs at the University of Nottingham and NTU. Please register here to attend.
