About this Event
Across Yavapai County, child care is increasingly recognized as one of the most significant barriers to workforce participation.
Employers, economic development leaders, and community partners regularly encounter the same challenge: when families cannot find reliable child care or after-school options, workforce participation, business stability, and regional growth are affected.
GRyT, PAAR and First Things First are convening regional business and community leaders to take a closer look at child care and what it means for workforce participation and economic growth in Yavapai County.
Rather than approaching child care solely as a social service issue, this conversation will examine how child care capacity intersects with workforce participation, economic competitiveness, and long-term regional growth.
Participants will also explore examples of how other communities have addressed similar challenges through partnerships, policy alignment, and innovative infrastructure approaches.
