This in-person course prepares youth ages 11-16 to safely and confidently care for children and infants. It includes hands-on activities, videos, and discussions to develop essential, real-life readiness babysitting skills. The course covers feeding, diapering, picking up and holding children, safety, and emergency response. Participants receive a 10-year Babysitter's Training certificate upon completion. This can be taught as a standalone course to receive babysitters training certification valid for 10 years. ($65)
It may also be combined with the American Red Cross, Pediatric First Aid, CPR, and AED class, with that certification valid for 2 years. ($115 normal cost, discounted to $95 for this event).
