Are you ready to gain more independence and learn how to grow and process your own food? We will be holding 2 chicken processing seminars again at the dates listed below. This will be a hand-on learning course where we discuss raising meat poultry (including broilers, fryers, turkeys, ducks and quail) and then move on to learning how to process meat chickens for the ultimate farm to table experience. And the best part is, you get to take your chicken home when you are done. We will be covering the right tools to use, what to feed your poultry for the best results and how to humanely dispatch. $20.00 non-refundable deposit is required to reserve your spot. Total cost is $ 65.00 per person. The course is limited to no more than 8 students to keep the learning atmosphere ideal.
We will provide all tools and shrink wrap bags.
