About this Event
Now that you have learned all about control methods, it's time to recruit volunteers for your garden's 'Rat Pack'. Participants will work through the logistics of communicating about rats, identifying tasks, and formatting a request for volunteers. The second portion of the workshop will include an walk through of different of rat abatement methods. This is the third and final workshop in the Chicago Rat Academy series and will apply what you've learned about rat control and garden design to set your garden up for success.
In Part 1, learn how to balance leaving resources for pollinators while preventing rats. In Part 2, learn about the different abatement methods you can practice in your community garden with live demonstrations.
